Junior Bookkeeping Assistant (School Leaver Opportunity)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented school leaver to join our bookkeeping practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a young individual who has completed matric with Accounting and is eager to start a career in finance and bookkeeping. Full training and mentorship will be provided. Minimum Requirements

Own transport Matric certificate (Accounting as a subject is essential) Basic understanding of accounting principles Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication skills (written and verbal) Must reside in or near Kempton Park Key Responsibilities

Capturing financial data and transactions Filing and maintaining financial records Supporting senior bookkeepers with daily tasks Assisting with VAT and basic compliance tasks (training provided) Basic Skills Required

Attention to detail and accuracy Basic understanding of debits and credits Ability to work with numbers confidently Organised and methodical approach to tasks Willingness to learn and take instruction Personal Attributes
