Our client, based in Somerset West, is on the lookout for a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Support Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch customer support, managing inquiries with precision and professionalism, and ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate support across various channels, addressing customer queries with expertise and care.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively while maintaining a commitment to excellence.
  • Manage support interactions through CRM solutions, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify recurring customer issues and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote additional services, fostering customer loyalty and driving sales.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold unmatched support standards.
  • Handle all interactions with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving acumen.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure cutting-edge support.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and learning to ensure client and team success.
  • Mitigate customer churn by delivering exceptional customer retention strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer support or customer-facing role, showcasing problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital support platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in analyzing customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales or upselling within a customer support framework.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for customer support and retention strategies.
  • Previous experience in a dynamic, fast-paced customer service environment.


Salary: R20k-R30k p.m. (depending on experience)

Location: Somerset West (office-based position) 

Type: Full time, in office, permanent position.
