Intermediate Software Solutions Business Analyst with experience in the Life Insurance Industry or Short-Term Insurance - for External Companies/Clients

Matric certificate.
IT Software Diploma or Degree or similar relevant Qualification.
Must have strong SDLC work experience
Mathematical+ algebra + Equations understanding+ skills. – great Advantage.

Must have a Business Analyst certificate - essential and not negotiable at all (if you do not have this you will not be successful in your application)

Must have 3-5+ years working experience as an IT Digital Software Solutions Business Analyst with working experience in the Individual or Group Life Insurance Industry in Policies / Funeral cover - not negotiable

Must have work Experience in Digital Life Insurance Policies + having done Business Test Cases, Scenario’s, User Stories, Scripts, Sprints, Claims premiums, Warranties and Integration.

Experience working with an IT Software Team in the Software Department. (Testers; Software Developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Master, Product Owners Architects’ etc.)

Will be working and liaising with External Customers Companies Clients regarding their software solutions needs for their company in the Life Insurance Industries.

Must have work experience in Life Insurance in Policies+ knowledge about the tools +technology + with Stakeholders

Agile+ Jira work experience is needed
Experience doing Software Testing.
Analysis & Initial Setup.
Analysis & Design of new Setup.

Support IT software Developers when adding new Setup.
Train the trainer on new features / functionality.
Understand the supporting functionality code at a high level to be able to interpret.
Take ownership (as per overview above) of configuration.

Review & sign-off of ASD (Architectural Specification Document) together with the IT Digital software Technical Architect and the Software Functional/Product Owner of the module being enhanced / fixed.
Create IT Software Solution Design documents for identified gaps in current Life Insurance offering, based on the business requirement received from the External Client.
Present business/ Individual Life Insurance training (Train the Trainer).
Must be willing to travel personally to see the external Clients at their premises when requested
Must have own transport and driver’s license

Salary: R40 000 – R50 000 + per Month (could be slightly higher depending on experience gained relevant to this Vacancy and current Salary earned)
Plus Annual Performance Bonus at the discretion of the Company + Will be supplied with a company Laptop - to work remotely
