As a Rural Generalist NP, you'll bring advanced assessment, diagnostic and prescribing capability to support patients across a broad spectrum of primary and chronic care needs. Your work spans acute presentations, health education, care coordination and proactive management of complex conditions to supporting clients to build health literacy and achieve better long-term outcomes. Your leadership will strengthen local capability through mentoring, quality improvement and system development, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement. About us: Capella Primary Health Clinic is part of the Central Highlands network, supported by hospitals in Emerald, Blackwater, Springsure and Woorabinda. We deliver person-centred primary, chronic and community care to a diverse rural population, guided by Central Queensland Health's strategic themes of Healthy Communities, Amazing Care, Connected Teams and Community Partnerships. About the role: Provide advanced, autonomous rural NP care across primary, chronic and acute settings. Undertake comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, prescribing and interpretation of diagnostics. Partner with local General Practice and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care. Lead development and evaluation of clinical protocols, systems and quality improvement initiatives. Mentor NP candidates and contribute to a culture of learning and capability building. Support service innovation and change aligned with rural health needs. About you: You are an AHPRA-registered Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Nursing (NP) and endorsement to practise. You bring advanced rural primary and chronic care expertise, with confidence in autonomous, broad-scope practice. You hold (or are willing to obtain) Nurse Immuniser qualifications and value safe, evidence-based care. You collaborate naturally and build positive relationships across teams, services and community. You communicate with warmth, clarity and respect, supporting strong therapeutic relationships. You mentor others generously and contribute to continuous improvement, research and innovation. You are energised by rural health and committed to improving outcomes for diverse communities.
