You understand what it means when uptime, performance and reliability affect customers, not just internal teams. But in most roles, your remit is still defined. You’re accountable for part of the environment, not how it all comes together. You influence decisions, but don’t fully own them, and progression can start to plateau. This role changes that. You take ownership of technology services across the organisation, with the mandate and backing to bring greater consistency, structure and control to an environment that is still maturing, while continuing to build your capability toward broader leadership. About Beamtree Beamtree is an ASX-listed AI healthcare technology company operating globally, focused on improving healthcare outcomes through data, automation and clinical decision support. With approximately 100 employees, the organisation delivers products used directly by customers, where performance and reliability are tied to real-world outcomes and commercial impact. Your New Role You will lead Technology Services across cloud, infrastructure, IT service management, automation, end user services and service delivery. You will: Lift maturity across ITSM practices Improve consistency in service delivery Reduce reliance on individuals through stronger structure Increase automation and operational efficiency Strengthen alignment between services and product teams You will lead a small internal team, supported by external partners, requiring a balance of leadership, hands-on understanding and vendor management. This role is focused on improving how a critical function operates, while maintaining stability across customer-facing platforms. Why This Role Is Different Most roles at this level either keep you focused on a defined area or move you away from delivery. This role gives you broader ownership across the service environment while keeping you close to how technology is delivered. You will work directly with the CTO, gaining exposure to how decisions are made and how the broader technology function evolves, creating a clear pathway to expand your leadership capability over time. About You You have experience leading infrastructure, cloud or technology services within a technology or product-led business. You’ve operated in environments where services underpin customer-facing platforms, and understand the expectations that come with that. You bring: Experience managing cloud platforms, ideally AWS Strong ITSM and service operations capability A track record improving operational performance Experience operating in a global environment Formal accountability within an ISO 27001 ISMS, including ownership of security controls You: Delegate effectively and build capability in others Bring structure, clarity and follow-through Balance hands-on understanding with leadership Communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders Hybrid Working & Benefits Based in North Sydney, with 3 days per week in the office, along with five weeks annual leave, health insurance and novated lease options.
