About the position The Cleaner position maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Council’s Cleaning Service Quality Manual. This position will work under regular supervision. The base wage rate for this position is 616.20 gross per 20 hour week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. This is a Permanent Part time role, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 10:00am. The position is based in the Toowoomba CBD. CBD parking provided. Professional development and learning opportunities. How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined under the 'Success Criteria' in the Position Description. Demonstrated experience providing high-quality cleaning and hygiene services within a corporate or commercial facility. Hands?on experience performing routine and detailed cleaning tasks in professional workplace settings. Skilled in delivering efficient, reliable cleaning services across large corporate facilities. Ability to understand written and oral directions. Ability to implement written or oral directions. The ability to plan own work within established guidelines and procedures. Ability to complete daily works records neatly and correctly. Basic numeracy, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of and commitment to Council’s Organisational Values and Behaviours of Honesty, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork, Safety and wellbeing.
