Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Electrical Qualification (Red Seal, Trade Test)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/engineering/maintenance environment
• Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to evaluate work output according to standards and specifications
• Own reliable transport (essential)
• Willingness to work shifts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in English – ability to read, write, and communicate effectively at all levels
• Punctual and reliable (essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of equipment, including planning and spares control
• Attend to breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance as required
• Execute preventative maintenance activities to the required standards
• Conduct equipment checks, adjustments, and performance monitoring
• Assist with electrical upgrades, new installations, and improvements
• Ensure safety objectives are achieved
• Follow technical drawings and work instructions accurately
• Comply with Health & Safety standards across all areas of responsibility
