This person will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the Industrial sector. If you are a proactive sales professional who enjoys relationship building, business development, and working in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Implement sales initiatives aligned with the company’s Industrial Strategy and Sales Plan.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Conduct regular customer visits in line with a structured calling cycle and business development plan.
Monitor customer buying patterns and provide market feedback to management.
Track competitor activity and identify market trends within the assigned region.
Assist customers with account openings, credit applications, and product-related queries.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
Manage warranty claims and customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate customer records and CRM data.
Conduct regional pricing surveys and provide regular sales and market feedback.
Achieve sales targets while managing discounts and expenses within approved parameters.
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Certificate in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 5).
Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) advantageous.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within a manufacturing, industrial, or retail environment.
Computer literate (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems, and related software).
Valid driver’s license essential.
