Assistant Artisan, Krugersdorp

• Remove and replace Pallman blades.
• Manufacture machine parts using the turning and lathe machine.
• Assists the maintenance fitter or electrician as instructed with welding, stripping, fitting, cleaning components, cutting, assembling, painting etc.
• Make sure of suitable moving equipment (Front-end loader, reach truck, forklift etc)
• Full adherence to safety standards.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation on time.

Qualification

1. Grade 12
2. Qualified Fitter/ relevant trade test certificate with minimum of N3- an advantage.

Experience Required

1. Experience in maintenance- 2 years
2. Experience in operation and maintaining other equipment e.g. conveyors, pumps, pipelines, boilers etc.
3. Practical knowledge and experience of lathe work (tuning), welding and machining
