Overview

A great mining company in Northern Cape is seeking the expertise of a Group SHE (Senior Health & Safety) Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Driving the Safety Management systems and Risk Management processes Providing guidance and advice to Site Management on what should be done Developing, implementing, managing, and auditing Risk Control initiatives and programs Leading and facilitating baseline, issue-based, job-task, pre-job, and personal risk assessments

Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety / Environmental Management Registration with a South African professional (SHE) Institution ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Audit Training 10 – 12 years’ experience in an opencast mining environment Minimum 5 years at Manager level Managing more than one site is essential
