Production Metallurgist, Burgersfort

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Metallurgist to join our team in a plant environment in Burgersfort, Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy or chemical engineering, with specific experience in chrome plant operations. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the mining industry is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the metallurgical processes in the plant
- Ensure the quality and efficiency of production operations
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize performance
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

- National Diploma/BSc/BTech in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Relevant Certificate of Competence
- Post Graduate Qualification will be advantageous
- 3-5 years of Chrome Plant experience
- 3-5 years of Metallurgical Experience
- Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Mining Regulations and Mining Legislation

- Physical Requirement of Medical Certificate of Competence
