Client Overview Our client is an industry leader in design‑to‑print branding opportunities partnering with global corporations to produce packaging with noteworthy brand recognition. The company’s operations are located across North America, Canada, Europe and Asia.
Role Overview A fantastic opportunity for an Account Director to help develop strategy in order to increase business and proactively retain and develop our existing portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
Strengthen client relationships through proactive account directorship
Maintain client satisfaction to an agreed target
Maintain client retention to an agreed target
Actively seek to increase the services offered and increase the income generated to agreed individual and team targets
Work closely with the Site Director to agree operational efficiency targets and business objectives
Have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of the full client portfolio
Prepare commercial client proposals and attend pitches
Identify new business opportunities and increase our paid‑for‑search portfolio
Develop processes that help to accurately forecast up‑and‑coming workloads
Client Satisfaction
Continuously strengthen and forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication including face‑to‑face meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication
Employ excellent listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand the client and their industry sector, the client’s products and services, and the client’s marketing objectives
Ensure all clients receive timely, high‑quality reporting from the quality team on a monthly and quarterly basis
Promote professionalism through manner, appearance and delivery and always keep promises
Qualifications The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in a previous Key Account Manager / Account Director role within a fast‑paced high‑volume turnover sector, and experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, printing or packaging background. Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to interpret client briefs and the capability to expedite to necessary areas of the business in order to achieve clients' timelines. Must have a strong analytical mind with the capability to foresee problems early and implement suitable counter‑measures.
