Overview Following significant expansion and investment in new technology, the client is seeking a Head of Client Services to lead the team of account managers. The successful candidate should have a client services background, preferably within a print‑related sector.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day management of the client services team and key clients.
Ensure the welfare of team members and support training and development.
Maintain time‑keeping, organise holidays and coordinate the department schedule.
Attend key client review meetings and oversee client governance.
Communicate with the team to manage client expectations.
Motivate the team and continually seek ways to improve service offerings.
Provide sales support for tenders and contractual negotiations.
Collaborate with Sales to introduce new contracts effectively.
Produce monthly client reports and management reporting on department performance.
Monitor, record, resolve and report on issues using client issue logs.
Distribute work to Account Managers and monitor workload balances.
Qualifications&Requirements
Experience managing a client services or related team.
Experience dealing with contracted clients and SLA adherence.
Experience in report management for contract clients.
Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
Commercial understanding of the sector.
Capability to review, document and implement processes&procedures.
Knowledge of compliance issues and safeguarding the company.
Experience with personnel management, appraisals, training and holiday management.
Ability to support tenders, contractual negotiations and contract introductions.
Proficiency in client reporting and monitoring.
Eligibility: must be resident in the UK and have recent experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
