Senior Mechanical Designer, Mahikeng

Overview

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Mechanical Designer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington. Responsibilities

Provide support and technical guidance for a team of multi-disciplined designers. Ensure the quality of output to the required standards, consistent with the full lifecycle from concept to in-service support. Demonstrate a good understanding of engineering and design practices relevant to the discipline.Demonstrate appropriate CAD skills and effective written and verbal communications. Apply specialist knowledge and substantial experience in a design subject area. Qualifications

HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent academic qualification. Experience in a detailed design environment. Good knowledge of CAD tools. Knowledge of General Engineering Drawing Practice. Incorporated Engineer status. ICF (Integrated Competency Framework) demonstrated or being worked towards.Demonstrable experience in technical leadership of a multi-disciplined design team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines. Company information
