Responsible for providing high quality strategic procurement support for a portfolio of public sector clients across the renewables, nuclear, and rail sectors. Responsibilities vary from project to project, ranging from advising on processes and procedures to delivering end-to-end contract management across the full lifecycle of the project.This role covers a broad portfolio of sectors, meaning a varied project environment, which allows for a varied day-to-day workload. Our client is looking for candidates with 4+ years' strategic procurement experience working within a main contractor or consultancy environment. Our client is also happy to look at public sector candidates who have strong infrastructure public contract regulation / FTS negotiation experience as this will be transferrable to some client projects.You will currently be working as a Senior Procurement Manager, Procurement Manager, or Senior Buyer with at least 2 years' experience managing NEC, JCT or FIDIC contracts. You will be degree qualified and CIPS qualified or working towards this.
