Job Title: Senior Buyer: Own Brand

Location: Runcorn, Cheshire

Salary: Competitive

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 09.00– 17.15

What You'll Do

Own and deliver the long‑term vision for our own‑brand portfolio

Identify opportunities for growth through market insight and trends

Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to phase‑out

Drive new product development (NPD) from idea to launch, including formulation, packaging, and costing

Source, onboard, and manage third‑party manufacturers and suppliers

Lead supplier negotiations to improve cost, margin, and service

Build strong, collaborative supplier partnerships with clear performance management

Own sales, margin, and profitability targets across the portfolio

Develop robust business cases for new products and portfolio changes

Monitor performance KPIs and take corrective action where needed

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Operations to deliver results

The Skills You'll Need

Experience in product, brand, or category management

Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and margin growth

Experience leading product development and working with external suppliers

Confident stakeholder management across multiple functions

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight and action

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving capability
