Scheduling Manager - North West - up to£45k basic., Mahikeng

Position Overview Senior member of the Planning team, based in Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

Co‑ordinating production scheduling, ensuring compliance to customer delivery deadlines, working across production teams and representing the planning team at a managerial level.

Dealing with production teams to ensure scheduling plans are met.

Maintaining full awareness of production status across all manufacturing areas and outworkers, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved.

Maintaining communications with outworkers, customer service and operations to react and be proactive in changes to production.

Liaising and meeting with internal customers, outworkers and suppliers and occasionally with external customers.

Providing essential support to the Planning Manager and Operations Management Teams.

Deputising for the Planning Manager during holidays and other absences, including representation at senior level and managing the team of Production Planners.

Attending daily and other production‑related meetings.

Participating in cross‑department projects to improve processes and procedures.

Ensuring standard operating procedures are in place for the role.

Qualifications

Customer focused.

Well presented, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and commitment.

Proficient communicator, both verbal and written.

High competence in dealing with detail.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Ability to deal with change and work under pressure.

Capable of providing out‑of‑hours support to production, prepared to take calls to work, use mobile and log onto schedule via company laptop to make scheduling changes.
