Interim Commissioning&Policy Lead, Mahikeng

Overview Rate:£40.23 per hour. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 6 months. Location: North West.

Responsibilities

Develop policy and procedure in assigned areas, including briefings, commissioning, business, or resources.

Propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements.

Suggest changes and make recommendations for the delivery of various projects.

Develop policy and service development for the service based on Public Health research and collaboration with the health and care system and local health authorities.

Ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives, meeting quality standards and staying within budget, with adjustments as needed.

Oversee strategic planning for Directorate projects, identifying interdependencies, assessing potential impacts on the wider organisation, determining resource needs, and building in contingency plans.

Lead the development of performance and governance strategies and implement improvement programs.

Develop short, medium, and long-term business plans to achieve quality outcomes.

Formulate long-term strategic plans for the recommissioning or decommissioning of the service based on a health review.
