Client Development Manager Blue Legal are partnering with a leading national law firm who are recruiting for a Client Development Manager to join their Liverpool office. This strategic role will focus on driving the growth and development of key“working closely with Client Relationship Partners (CRPs), senior leadership, and marketing teams to maximise client value.
Responsibilities
Work alongside Client Relationship Partners to develop and implement strategic account plans for clients within the Generator programme, ensuring clear objectives, growth strategies, and measurable outcomes.
Support and coach CRPs through both ad-hoc guidance and formal training sessions to drive best-practice client development behaviours.
Collaborate with the Bids team to support compelling tenders, pitches, and presentations for Generator clients, using client insights and market intelligence.
Design and deliver value-added client initiatives that strengthen engagement and enhance client satisfaction.
Produce and deliver regular internal communications relating to programme progress, client activity, and CRM usage across the firm.
Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and client insight reporting to CRPs and senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
Work with the wider marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that enhance market positioning and generate increased revenue from key clients.
Build relationships with external organisations and potential referral partners to support business development opportunities.
Prepare quarterly and annual progress reports for senior leadership, capturing outcomes, learnings, and opportunities for future client growth.
Candidate
Minimum of four years’ business development or client relationship management experience within a B2B services environment, including at least two years within professional services
Proven experience managing key client programmes or strategic accounts within a CRM framework.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
