Location North West England.

Experience Required

Project Management qualification(s) including PRINCE2 accreditation or similar.

At least 2 years of project experience at project manager level covering a relevant area such as Events, Retail, Field Marketing, etc.

Working knowledge and management of budgets.

General understanding of Field Marketing.

Track record of delivering against targets and within set timescales.

Key Capabilities and Characteristics

Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and time management skills.

Proficient computer skills (all aspects of Microsoft Office).

Confidence operating within senior peer groups and customer senior management.

Conditions of Role

Possible overnight stays / travel outside of the UK may be required.

Job Summary Planning, organising, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project’s goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Operational effectiveness: review and confirm the operational field marketing plan.

Identify and create data collection and reporting systems designed to fulfil monitoring requirements.

Ensure correct distribution of all required material.

Provide on‑going feedback on activity results.

Complete agreed quality assurance measures, assessing pace and productivity.

Embed engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures for all project engagements.

Adhere to warehousing processes including stock pick and kit allocation to meet agreed SLA.

Participate in strategic account development.

Act as key participant in team and client meetings, confronting issues openly.

Client management: anticipate client needs, propose alternative business solutions, and continually define ways to increase satisfaction.

People&Performance

Develop and agree briefing and training programmes and materials for the field marketing team.

Recruit, brief and train sufficient personnel, clarifying roles and responsibilities.

Deliver continuous improvements of processes and procedures for efficiency and cost savings.

Engage in cross‑functional working to enhance performance.

Provide leadership to Project Administrators.

Coordinate with sales team to follow up sales leads within practice.

Offer expertise to internal teams and task forces.

Grow long‑term client relationships and capitalise on partnership opportunities.

Attend internal and external meetings to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.

Ensure project targets are met with high output and quality.

Manage liaison for smooth running of projects, deliveries and equipment.

Drive total quality management with continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Managers and Departmental Managers to deliver budget and improve profitability.

Produce and investigate KPIs for weekly/monthly reporting.

Control and utilise additional labour costs effectively.

Report profit and loss figures, consolidate and analyse profitability, revenue, margin, bill rates and utilisation across projects.

Monitor field marketing activity against plan, budget and objectives, addressing variances.

Human Resources

Provide leadership and motivation to Project Administrators.

Promote a positive people culture and adopt a competent, committed, involved and motivated workforce style.

Seek creative ways to employ teams and distribute responsibilities.

Collaborate with HR to implement people management development, recruitment and retention strategies and provide on‑site training and coaching.

Improve business and divisional communications through briefs, presentations and staff meetings.

Enforce Health and Safety Policy and monitor implementation within the projects division.

Work with Head of Training to support training via new technology.

Business Planning&Operational Strategy

Develop and implement sound business practices, champion change and manage new ideas.

Identify improvement areas and develop implementation plans.

Plan to fulfil and achieve project requirements and conduct post‑review analysis.

Liaise with Department Heads for new processes for clients/markets.

Deliver new and existing customer requirements, facilitate project reviews including budget spend and overall performance.

Collaborate with Head of Training, HR and Regional Field Managers to assess workforce quality and develop business in line with strategy.

Drive efficiencies and quality service delivery through sustainable processes.

Raise company visibility through local industry organisations.
