This is a well-established, family-oriented luxury safari lodge set within a well-known Big Five reserve. Famous for its intimate, nature-immersed experiences and strong focus on warm, personalised hospitality, we are looking for a hands‑on, guest-focused leader who can seamlessly balance operational oversight with exceptional service delivery—someone passionate about the bush, thrives in a close-knit team environment, and is committed to creating memorable, high-end guest experiences.
Candidate Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across all departments.
Lead, manage, and motivate staff, including training, performance management, and fostering a strong service-driven team culture.
Ensure exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure, handling feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Manage budgets, cost control and procurement to support the lodge’s profitability and sustainability.
Maintain high standards of lodge presentation, upkeep, health, safety, and compliance with all operational policies and procedures.
Core Criteria
Previous experience in lodge management or senior hospitality operations within a luxury safari lodge environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
Excellent guest relations skills with a strong focus on personalised, high-end service delivery.
Strong problem‑solving abilities with a calm, hands‑on approach in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for conservation, wildlife, and delivering authentic bush experiences in a remote environment.
Package Offer
Accommodation and meals provided.
3 weeks on/1 week off work cycle.
21 days annual leave.
