Hire Resolve is currently assisting our client in the stainless steel manufacturing industry in their search for a talented Production Engineer. Responsibilities

Optimize and continuously improve production processes Adhere to QCDSM framework (Quality, Costs, Delivery, Safety, Moral) Ensure business KPA’s and KPI’s are met Oversee three shift production teams Ensure safety and quality compliance within the team Execute all production-related activities cost-effectively Report, analyze, and monitor production processes and product quality Recommend improved processes based on trials Ensure implementation of corrective actions

Requirements

BEng (preferably in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering) Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing processes, SHE, and quality procedures Proficiency in MS Office Knowledge of Cold Products systems and equipment (advantageous) Physical fitness to work in Cold Products area (stainless steel production lines)

Ability to handle stress Excellent attention to detail with high volumes of data Analytical ability to coach and professional skilled team members Proactive, self-driven team player Independent worker with high quality and safety standards Excellent communication, planning, and organizing skills

Additional Information

The individual in this role will be accountable to the Area Manager Position is within the Cold Products business unit Strong leadership, good judgment, management skills, and strong business acumen are essential Physical fitness is necessary for the Cold Products area
