SITE MANAGER (Bulk Materials Handling), Middelburg

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 (Matric) essential.

Diploma or Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering

Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in materials handling or mining operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Experience in construction and managing of Coal disposal facility’s

Sound knowledge of bulk material handling equipment

Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations and compliance.

Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.

Valid driver’s license.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment.

GENERAL DUTIES The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Plan, direct, and coordinate materials handling activities on site, including loading, hauling, stockpiling, and plant feed.

Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) to achieve production targets.

Managing of Coal disposal facility’s

Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.

Manage operational budgets and control site expenses.

Legal compliance to the Mine health and Safety Act and Labour Relations Act.

Maintain site Discipline
