Job Summary:

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of their manufacturing plant in Moorreesburg, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, a proven track record of leading teams to meet production goals, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, maintenance, and safety protocols

Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall plant performance

Lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies

Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, engineering, and finance, to optimize production processes and achieve company goals

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement

Maintain a high level of employee engagement and morale through effective communication, recognition, and conflict resolution

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant management role

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team

Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving production targets
