Enrolled Nurse - Psychiatric, KwaZulu

Our client is seeking Trained Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (EN) for a professional facility based in Berea, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Must have psychiatric experience. Seeking the best team players to be part of this organisation to start immediately.

Duties include the following, but not limited to

• Effective patient care with a sound knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication and preventing risks.
• Accurate recording of all nursing related documentation daily.
• Daily nursing tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, monitoring clients with suicidal and self-harm potential.
• You will be expected to handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients are made welcome, safe, and settled in with no delays.
• Undertake any other duties as delegated by the Nursing Manager

Requirements:

• A relevant nursing qualification
• Registration with SANC
• Minimum of at least 1 Year of Psych experience
• Excellent English communication skills
• Passionate about Psych healthcare
• Effective patient care with a sound knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication and preventing risks.

Salary: Above market related, depending on experience.
