Our client in the citrus sector is looking for a Citrus Technical Manager to join their team.Minimum requirements:
PhD / Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science or related field Proven expertise in citrus/subtropical propagation, tree crop physiology, phenological stage management, advanced IPDM (e.g., managing phytosanitary risks like FCM, CBS, thrips, or phytophthora), fertigation, and climate/irrigation management Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in high-value horticultural production systems with a dedicated focus on commercial citrus and/or subtropical tree crop operations Experience managing multi-site agricultural operations (advantageous) Strong understanding of export quality standards, global market access requirements, Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs), and agricultural certifications (e.g., GlobalG.A.P.) Advanced technical agricultural and horticultural expertise Must be willing to travel
