Accountant Position

We are currently seeking a skilled

Accountant

to join our team in the fuel services industry. The individual will play a crucial role in financial management, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in management accounting, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity. Duties&Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of management accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, providing insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate with operational teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Utilize financial analysis and reporting tools such as Pastel to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities. Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring compliance with deadlines and maintaining accuracy in financial data.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial support and insights for decision-making processes. Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.Desired Experience&Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the fuel services industry. Completion of articles will be an advantage. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, particularly Pastel. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing a team to comply with deadlines and maintain accuracy. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.Package&Remuneration
