GENERAL MANAGER (Stone Fruit Farm)

A well-established 80 ha stone fruit farm in the Little Karoo offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-driven General Manager.
 
The job incumbent will be required to take full responsibility and ownership of the farm’s day-to-day operations and overall performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing organisational goals and strategic direction
• Full staff management, including development and performance oversight
• Annual production planning and execution
• Managing and controlling all production activities
• Cost-effective management of production-related processes
• Compiling and managing annual budgets
• Implementing and improving systems and processes
• Quality control and maintaining high standards
• Overseeing all production-related administration
• Ensuring sound management practices across all departments

 
REQUIREMENTS:
 

• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or a related field
• Proven track record in production management (stone fruit production experience)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
