Job Description

Assist with demand forecasting and stock planning for selected product categories.

Analyse sales data and trends to support forecast accuracy.

Monitor stock levels across stores, warehouses, and online channels.

Help maintain optimal stock levels and reduce stock shortages or overstocking.

Identify slow-moving stock and assist with clearance actions.

Support stock allocations for promotions, product launches, and seasonal ranges.

Compile and update sales, stock, and performance reports.

Track KPIs such as sales performance, stock cover, and product availability.

Assist with monthly planning and review preparation.

Work closely with Planning, Buying, Procurement, and Operations teams to support smooth execution of plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or currently studying toward a qualification in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

1–2 years’ experience in retail, planning, procurement, or inventory-related roles.

Basic understanding of retail and supply chain principles.

Interest in FMCG or fresh food environments advantageous.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to analyse data and identify trends.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage X3 or planning tools advantageous.

Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
