Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Pietermaritzburg

Job Responsibilities

Assist engineering managers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects and effective maintenance programs. Conduct research and analysis to support equipment maintenance planning and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop engineering solutions.Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, documentation, and technical drawings. Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate design feasibility and performance. Support the implementation and testing of engineering systems and equipment. Conduct inspections and quality control checks on all engineering tasks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions to ensure equipment reliability and achieving OEE. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology. Desired Experience&Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical field). 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD, MATLAB, or similar programs. Working towards achieving G.C.C. (factories) within 3 years.Solid understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
