An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and commercially driven After Sales Manager to take ownership of product support operations within a fast-paced, product-focused environment. This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who thrives on strategy, performance, and delivering exceptional customer service across dealer and distributor networks.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for leading the full after-sales function, ensuring service excellence, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth across the South African and broader African market.

This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership, with a focus on delivering value to both customers and the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage after-sales operations, ensuring service levels exceed expectations
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and efficiency
  • Manage dealer and distributor networks, ensuring consistent service quality
  • Oversee warranty processes, reporting, and compliance
  • Drive training and development initiatives for internal teams and external partners
  • Analyse market trends, customer performance, and product profitability
  • Develop pricing strategies and manage product lifecycle processes
  • Collaborate with sales, service, operations, and marketing teams Lead product launches, training, and market rollout strategies
  • Ensure product compliance, accuracy, and alignment across systems and platforms

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within a technical/product environment
  • Strong technical understanding (mechanical, electrical, or equipment-based products)
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
