Flexographic Printing Supervisor

Hire Resolve client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Flexographic Printing Supervisor to join their team in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flexographic printing and experience in managing a team.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the flexographic printing department

Manage and lead a team of printing technicians and operators

Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders

Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the printing process

Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during printing

Maintain and calibrate printing equipment as needed

Train new employees on printing techniques and equipment operation

Implement and enforce safety procedures in the printing department

Communicate with other departments to coordinate printing schedules and requirements

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)

Qualified Trade Tested

3-5 years’ experience as a qualified Flexographic Operator will be advantageous.

Min 1-2 years’ experience as a supervisor in a production environment.

Planning work

Demonstrate authority.

Good understanding of Training and Development

Problem Solving ability.

Good people skills.

Ability to deal with conflict in a workplace.
