Company Overview An established agricultural and export business, operating within the citrus industry, is seeking to appoint a Financial Manager. The organisation operates in a regulated environment and requires strong financial governance, compliance, and commercial support.

Role Purpose To take responsibility for financial compliance, corporate governance support, contract management, and payroll processing, ensuring adherence to applicable legislation and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities Financial Compliance&Reporting

Ensure compliance with South African tax legislation and applicable foreign jurisdictions

Maintain SARB approvals and regulatory requirements

Manage internal and external audit processes

Monitor and strengthen internal controls

Track and interpret changes in financial legislation

Corporate Governance

Support the Company Secretary with governance processes

Prepare board and committee documentation

Attend meetings, record minutes, and track action items

Contract&Legal Administration

Review and monitor contracts, renewals, and compliance obligations

Support drafting and finalisation of agreements

Assist with due diligence processes

Maintain a central contracts repository

Payroll&Remuneration

Oversee monthly payroll processing and reconciliations

Maintain remuneration records for reporting purposes Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous

Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting, audit, or compliance

Strong working knowledge of:

Tax legislation

IFRS

Companies Act and King IV

B-BBEE, POPIA, and FIC

Proficient in Microsoft-based accounting and payroll systems

Strong attention to detail and organisational ability

High level of confidentiality and professionalism

Effective communication skills

Remuneration Market-related and aligned to experience.
