FMCG Sales Representative, Pinetown

National FMCG company seeking an energetic and target-driven FMCG Sales Representative to grow sales, expand the customer base, and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Pinetown area. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling dairy products to retailers, distributors, and other customers while achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development:

• Actively promote and sell dairy products to new and existing customers.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

• Conduct regular visits to ensure product availability, display, and merchandising standards.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

• Provide feedback to management on product performance and sales opportunities.

• Suggest promotional initiatives to drive sales growth.

Reporting & Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market data.

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12 (Matric) required; tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business is an advantage.

2. 1–3 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the food or dairy industry.

3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

6. Valid driver’s license
