Factory Administrator – Packaging Industry, Pinetown

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Factory Administrator to join their team in the Packaging Industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The Factory Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the factory manager and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Responsibilities :

Provide administrative support to the factory manager and other staff as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, inventory, and other relevant information. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Monitor and track production metrics to ensure targets are met. Assist in the implementation of quality control procedures and performance improvement initiatives. Handle inquiries and correspondence from customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Minimum post-matriculation qualification (degree advantageous) Minimum 2 years admin experience (manufacturing environment) Happy to work on factory floor 50% of the time Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
