Our client, a leading supplier of ceramic and refractory solutions across Africa, is looking for a high-energy, results-driven professional to aggressively grow their market share and secure new clients.This role is focused on identifying and pursuing new opportunities, opening doors, and converting prospects into long-term customers. You'll spend time on the road engaging with potential clients, building strong relationships, promoting tailored technical solutions, and consistently exceeding sales targets.Requirements

2-5 years of sales experience in the ceramic products industry Good communication, negotiation, presentation skills Ability to travel frequently, sometimes to remote or industrial sites; valid driver's license; reliable vehicle Self-motivated, target-driven, able to work independently in the fieldDuties and Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities: prospect for potential new clients in sectors such as steel, glass, ceramics, cement, petrochemicals, power generation, foundries, etc. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers. Understand customer needs and technical requirements; recommend the most appropriate ceramic / refractory products or systems.Present product specifications, strengths, limitations; provide technical advice and support. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate terms. Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators. Conduct regular field visits / site inspections to assess applications, resolve issues, demonstrate product performance.Gather market intelligence: track competitor activity, pricing, new materials / technologies. Collaborate internally to ensure orders are fulfilled, products delivered on time, quality standards met. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and feedback to management. Attend trade shows, industry conferences, customer training sessions as required.
