Electrician TechnoPort New Gisborne, Bendigo, Goldfields and Macedon Ranges VIC Electricians (Trades and Services) Full time 50 to 60 per hour Low application volume Electrician | Full-time | Long-term role Technoport is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician with strong domestic installation experience to join our growing team in New Gisborne. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Senior or Leading Hand Electrician who enjoys running residential jobs and wants to upskill into solar PV, battery storage, and home automation systems. Competitive pay of 50to60 per hour, with higher rates available for candidates holding solar and/or battery accreditation, plus ongoing training and long-term career progression. About the Role You will take a hands-on leading role on domestic projects, overseeing quality, safety, and workflow while mentoring apprentices and supporting junior electricians. In addition to core residential electrical work, you will progressively be involved in solar, battery, and smart home installations, with training provided where required. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver domestic electrical installations (new builds, renovations, upgrades) Supervise and support apprentices and junior electricians on site Ensure all works comply with AS/NZS standards, safety regulations, and company procedures Liaise with clients, builders, and internal team members Assist with and progress into solar PV and battery installations Home automation and smart home systems (lighting control, automation, data and control wiring) Complete compliance documentation, job reports, and service records Maintain high workmanship standards and site presentation About You Essential Current A-Grade Electrician Licence (VIC) Extensive domestic (residential) electrical experience Proven ability to run jobs independently Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of safety, compliance, and best practices Strong communication skills with clients and team members Leadership mindset with pride in quality workmanship Highly Regarded Previous Leading Hand or Senior Electrician experience Interest in, or exposure to, solar PV and battery systems Experience with home automation / smart home installations Willingness to mentor apprentices and upskill others Positive, proactive, and reliable work ethic (Solar, battery, and automation experience is not essential — willingness to upskill is.)
