Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe Operation of Heavy Vehicles:

   • Operate heavy motor vehicles, including Code 10 and 14, with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
   • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the roadworthiness of the vehicle.

2. Cargo Handling:

   • Safely load and unload goods, ensuring securement and proper weight distribution.
   • Collaborate with the crew to ensure equal participation in cargo handling responsibilities.

3. Route Planning and Navigation:

   • Plan and execute efficient transportation routes, utilizing modern navigation tools for optimal journey planning.

4. Documentation Management:

   • Complete accurate documentation for all deliveries, including logbooks, delivery notes, and relevant paperwork.
   • Ensure meticulous compliance with documentation and reporting requirements.

5. Customer Service Excellence:

   • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and maintain professional communication with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

6. Vehicle Maintenance Oversight:

   • Conduct routine maintenance checks, promptly reporting and addressing any identified issues.
   • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure scheduled servicing and repairs are completed as required.

7. Regulatory Compliance:

   • Stay abreast of and adhere to all relevant transportation regulations.
   • Strictly comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Code 10 and 14 driver's licenses.
• Proven experience as a Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver, demonstrating a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Education and Experience:
