Quality Engineer, Port Elizabeth

Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

• Diploma/ B Tech in Engineering
• Diploma / Certificate in Quality (TQM / City & Guilds)
• Three to Five year's relevant experience
• Working knowledge of the Injection Moulding process
• Automotive Core Tools Training
• VDA 6.3 Auditor Qualification

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for all products (OEM and Tier 1 suppliers), including customer requirements and specifications, APQP process and customer complaints
• Prepare reports on quality related matters
• Co-Ordination of Root Cause Analysis using Automotive Core Tools
• Responsible for Raw Material Inspection and Release System
• Monitor quality performance of suppliers and rate suppliers monthly 
• Effectively participate in all 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers and OEMs on quality matters, root cause investigations and corrective/preventative action plans and update of the relevant documentation
