A reputable and well-established accounting firm in Port Elizabeth is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager / Manager to join their growing team.

This is a full-time, office-based role offering the opportunity to work closely with a diverse client base while playing a key role in delivering high-quality financial and tax services.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Manage and oversee client portfolios, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are consistently met
• Compile annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
• Perform income tax calculations, including deferred tax computations
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance and mentorship
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting or similar
• Proven experience within an accounting firm environment
• Strong ability to independently manage multiple client relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
