Sales Representative (FMCG) - Port Elizabeth

Our client operating in the FMCG industry is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Representative to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Clients include: Retail stores, restaurants, fast food outlets, hotels, guest houses, conference centers, wedding venues, etc.

Salary: R12 000 CTC per month + Petrol Card.

Requirements

• Proven experience in FMCG sales or a similar retail environment.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• Strong ability to negotiate with store management and owners of business.
• Ability to manage a structures call cycle and work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
• Promote seasonal fresh produce and new FMCG product lines.
• Negotiate prices, contracts and Trade Agreements.
• Achieve monthly trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
• Weekly sales updates.
