Sales Representative, Port Elizabeth

A dynamic manufacturing and distribution business within the home textiles industry is looking for driven, energetic and relationship-focused Sales Representatives to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong hunter-type salesperson who enjoys building relationships, securing new business and growing existing accounts within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth across sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, wholesale, education, automotive and independent clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Conduct client visits, presentations and sales negotiations
• Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service
• Achieve sales targets and grow market share within the region
• Work closely with internal departments including production, logistics and marketing
• Monitor market trends and provide customer feedback
• Attend client meetings, exhibitions and trade events

Requirements:

• 2–3 years' external B2B sales experience
• Manufacturing or textile industry experience advantageouS
• Proven ability to secure and grow new business
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability
• Self-motivated, target-driven and proactive
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office & ERP systems advantageous)
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
