Administrative Assistant Intern, Potchefstroom, South Africa

Description / Synopsis:

Administrative Assistant Intern position available with a leading company in the agricultural sector, based in Potchefstroom. This full-time, 12-month internship is designed for energetic juniors eager to expand their administrative and operations skills. The successful intern may be considered for permanent employment after completion, based on performance. We are looking for the very best talent in the market! Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in agriculture/administration or similar (Above average academic results will be your advantage!)
• Valid driver’s license and own car essential as local travel is an essential role requirement
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with MS Dynamics an advantage
• Experience in stock control preferred
• Strong team working ability
• Detail-oriented, punctual, with excellent telephone manners

Responsibilities:

• Handle client and agent admin tasks including commission calculations
• Admin support across all business units
• Support sales staff and attend to walk-in clients
• Operate switchboard efficiently
• Conduct detailed stock control procedures
• Participate in logistics administration
• Assist with debtor and creditor management
