Accountant Financial Accountant FTC 12 months, Pretoria

We are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to account for all general ledger transactions and to ensure that all allocated monthly activities are accurately and promptly performed.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Functional Management

• Upload online bank payments
• Prepare month-end journals
• Petty cash reconciliations
• Perform deferred income calculations in line with IAS 20
• Prepare account balance reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and any other related reports
• Assist with the preparation of statutory returns

Risk and Compliance Management

• Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks
• Maintain quality risk management standards in line with ISO and regulatory requirements

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Represent and participate in the organization's committees and task teams

Qualification:

• National Diploma in Financial Accounting or Finance
• 3 years relevant experience in Accounting
• Proven track record in fixed assets accounting
• Working with ERP
• IFRS Knowledge
