IT Technician, Swellendam

Our client, a well-known fruit packaging company in the Overberg is seeking to employ an experienced IT Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Diagnose computer problems
• Monitor computer processing systems
• Install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs
• Set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and teach clients to use programs
• Offer remote support from an office or perform hands-on work at the work site
• Help get software, hardware and operating systems installed and configured
• Provide support when problems occur

• Experience in a corporate environment would be an added advantage

Minimum qualifications and Experience

• A+ and N+
• MCSA
• Virtualization
• Cloud
• VoIP
• MS Active Directory
• SAN
• Firewall
• Networking experience
• 4 – 5 Years of experience working as an IT technician
• Code 08 or higher driver's license
