The purpose of Oracle Infrastructure Specialist is to manage the Oracle Fusion Infrastructure platform. This role involves the primary responsibilities of performing system administration, system support and system maintenance of the Oracle Fusion platform.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Perform cloning of the PROD environments to UAT and DEV.
• Perform migration of UAT environment to PROD.
• Diagnose and resolve overall system performance issues to a hardware level.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity related issues.
• Configuration and optimisation of core Oracle network routers and switches.
• Facilitate hardware fault logging and replacement with Oracle South Africa through the Oracle MySupport online platform.
• Monitor and ensure data synchronisation between the on-premise and the remote Disaster Recovery datacentre through Oracle Data Guard.
• Monitor and renewal of all the relevant SSL certificates within the Oracle environment eg, Reverse Proxy Server, Oracle WebLogic servers.

Education, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years working experience in Oracle Infrastructure.
• Oracle ODA hardware on premise experience would be an advantage.
