About the Position:

We require an Accountant to work in support of the CFO towards the optimal use of financial management best practices including providingservices to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations in the finance and supply chain management division.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Rentals and Utilities department.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Daily receipt allocation.
• Improving systems and procedures.
• Monthly management reporting on bank charges, debtors and client funds.
• Monthly reporting up to Trial Balance and Month end processes.
• Deposit call up &refunds.
• Specific Projects from time to time.
• Providing general support and assistance to the Chief Financial Officer on any other financial administration and related deliverables.

Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate would have the following requirements:

• Extensive general reconciliation experience.
• 5+ years Accounting experience
• Rentals & Utility experience – an advantage.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office). (MRI software an added advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deadline orientated with attetion to detail.
• Managing a small team.
• Management OF accounts. Preparation of financials in Caseware

Degree in Accounting ESSENTIAL
