We are seeking a qualified and talented Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, but also work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent knowledge of at least one programming language and have a strong understanding of various operating systems and platforms. An analytical mindset and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.

Your primary objective as an Application Developer will be to write clean and flawless code, ensuring the development of fully functional software applications that meet specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as application developer
• Experience in designing and building applications
• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) etc.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills
• BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field; MSc/MA will be appreciated
• Certified application developer is a plus

Technical Stack:

• Spring/Spring boot framework (Rest, Security etc) : 3 – 5 years.
• Maven: 3 – 5 years.
• ORM (JPA, Hibernate or EBean): 3 – 5 years.
• Legacy Java JSP and Servlets: 3 – 5 years.
• Modern Javascript frameworks: (2 – 4 years)
• Modern Javascript frameworks: (2 – 3 years)

Other skills:

• Self-motivated person, able to work with minimum supervision and able to provide updates and reports without being continuously prompted.
• Essentially, looking for a very independent worker
