Fitter & Turner / Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and test machinery for safety and reliability.
• Report equipment defects and repair time estimates.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per standard practices.
• Operate hand tools and machine parts to specifications.
• Create CNC programmes from drawings or components.
• Manufacture components on CNC machines as per specs.
• Inspect and rig heavy components safely with overhead cranes.
• Ensure ISO, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and N2 Technical Certificate.
• Qualified Fitter & Turner Artisan.
• At least 2 years' experience in fitting, turning, and machining.
• Basic rigging experience an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
