SAIPA Junior Accounting Article Clerk

An established accounting environment is seeking a motivated SAIPA Junior Article Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, eager to learn, and ready to build a solid foundation toward becoming a Professional Accountant (SA).

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed or currently studying)
• Own transport and a valid driver's licence – essential
• Excellent communication and writing skills in Afrikaans & English – essential

Technical Skills

• Pastel Accounting (full function up to trial balance) – essential
• Microsoft Excel & Word – essential
• CaseWare experience – advantageous
• SARS E-Filing knowledge – advantageous
• Experience with financial statements – advantageous
• Auditing exposure – advantageous
• Taxation knowledge, including calculation and submission of tax returns – advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• VAT calculations and submissions
• SARS submissions and related admin
• Capturing and processing on Pastel
• Assisting with drafting financial statements
• Exposure to all aspects of the SAIPA Learnership
